I am editing a collection of writings by and about Fred Halsted, performer, publisher, and director of L. A. Plays Itself, as well as other films.  The book will be published by Semiotext(e) in the Fall of 2010.

      I am currently doing research in the archives and attempting to contact people who knew Fred Halsted well.  If you have any articles, photographs, publicity materials, videos, or most importantly, personal memories of the man, I would greatly appreciate your help.
