DESCRIPTION
Drawn from a psychology film in the series “The Disordered Mind,” Aggressive Child presents scenes of a hyperactive child and the various people (mother, teachers, psychologist) who try to help him. The footage has been “defaced” and distressed with blotches of ink and webs of scratches. The movie makes reference to the artist’s own childhood, before his violent tendencies were sublimated into more socially acceptable activities.
